The Library will be closed beginning at 5 pm Tuesday, January 5 for the rest of the week.  As of January 11th, we will be closed all week this week as well.  And as of right now it looks like we will be finishing and cleaning up on Monday the 18th, Tuesday the 19th and opening again on the 21st for full library services.  Our ceiling repair is going well and we are totally excited about the end results.  This Thursday, the 14th we will do curbside for any requests that you have.  This will be between 10 am and 1 pm.  Requests must be done ahead of time, either via email, text, catalog or answering machine. Remember we have Overdrive available...click on it over in the side column.  Thank you for your patience...it's starting to look amazing again!!!
Month of January
We are changing our hours for just a little while.  We will be open on Mondays from 1 pm until 6 pm.,
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am until 5 pm.  Friday remains the same at 10- 4 and Saturday is the same at 10- 1.  Wednesdays will be the big difference, we will be closed all day.
We are going to try this for the month of January and see how it goes.  February and March may be the same but we will be going back to our regular hours in April/May at least.
WE ARE OPEN. But.....
The Library is open.  You may come inside to select your own books.  We will always offer curbside if you are more comfortable with that process.  Computers are available, printing and faxing is still available, you just -need to make arrangements ahead of time with us.  517-448-3801
Please continue to place ALL returns in the outside drop box for quarantine purposes. We are asking that there be NO DONATIONS placed in the drop box at this time.  We do not have the room for quarantining them and we can not have regularly scheduled book sales.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding in this implementation of changes we are going through.
1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
AMATEURS!!  PROFESSIONALS!!!  ONCE-IN-A-WHILER'S!!!  All are welcome to come join us as we share ideas, thoughts and information.  Come see our display on the rolling grid on the main floor of the library....maybe your picture will be there next month!!
We have added a second evening each month to do more "hands on" with our cameras and equipment.  The first Thursday is learning from the Great Courses DVD and choosing our theme and choice winners.  We change out the display each month also.
